Join us. **Job Description** **AECOM is seeking a Wet-System Discipline Engineer** **to work at its offices in Lima, Peru.** **Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:** * Preparing updates to calculations for sanitary and fire suppression system designs, in coordination with the discipline lead. * Developing and updating models for sanitary and fire suppression systems. * Preparing and updating descriptive memoranda, calculation memoranda, technical specifications, and drawings for sanitary and fire suppression systems. * Leading the drafting team composed of sanitary and fire suppression system modelers. * Participating in daily and weekly interdisciplinary coordination meetings with AECOM’s design teams regarding technical and project management decisions. * Supervising modeling progress, ensuring compliance with technical and regulatory requirements across all assigned tasks, and verifying task execution in accordance with established procedures and regulations. * Participating in daily and weekly technical meetings with AECOM personnel and/or other project entities. * Participating in activities assigned within the scope of expertise as required by regulation or project needs. **Requirements** **Minimum Requirements** * Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in sanitary, civil, or mechanical engineering + 2 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalent experience and/or education. * Experience in designing sanitary installations, wastewater treatment, and fire suppression systems for vertical infrastructure; preparing calculation and descriptive memoranda; developing technical specifications; and designing wastewater treatment systems from intake through supply and discharge points. * Experience in 2D and 3D computer-aided drafting; proficiency with design and simulation software for water supply systems, wastewater systems, and fire suppression systems; familiarity with software such as Revit, Civil 3D, AutoCAD, or similar tools. * Proficiency in RNE IS.010, RNE CE.040, MTC manuals, and NFPA standards—particularly those related to water and wastewater systems and fire suppression systems. * Familiarity with sanitary and fire suppression regulations under RNE, NFPA, and FAA standards. * Specific experience in designing and drafting sanitary and fire suppression systems. **Additional Information** **Preferred Qualifications:** * Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in sanitary, civil, or mechanical engineering + 3 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalent experience and/or education, preferably in designing sanitary installations and fire protection systems for vertical buildings, preparing calculation and descriptive memoranda, developing technical specifications, and designing wastewater treatment systems from intake through supply and discharge points. * Intermediate-level English proficiency. Relocation assistance is not available for this position.
