Accurate recording of parts, spare parts, and tool inventory. **Full Job Description** A mining-sector company is seeking top talent to fill the position of **MECHANICAL WELDER – AREQUIPA \-(CHALA).** **REQUIREMENTS:** * Technical training in Mechanics, Welding, or related fields. * Minimum 6 months of experience in maintenance and repair of equipment, structures, and metal components. * Knowledge of welding techniques. * Availability to work under the mining work regime 20 x 10\. **RESPONSIBILITIES:** * Perform and report on preventive, predictive, corrective maintenance, repairs, and/or modifications to operational equipment both underground and/or on surface, in accordance with established schedules, and provide mechanical technical support underground, to ensure daily equipment operability and prevent unexpected failures and unnecessary downtime. * Adjust welding parameters according to technical requirements. * Reconstruct equipment via welding or part replacement. * Inspect, dismantle, and repair machines and structures, ensuring their operability. * Generate material, tool, and spare parts requisitions. * Analyze, detect, and resolve failures in mechanical and hydraulic systems (brakes, cooling systems, steering, engines, lifts, tires, differentials, oil leaks, structural issues, etc.). * Maintain accurate records of used parts and spare parts, as well as tool and equipment inventory. * Carry out scheduled and corrective maintenance on mining equipment and machinery to ensure optimal performance and prevent failures. * Prepare corresponding reports for assigned tasks: daily work execution, repairs, tests, calibrations, adjustments, modifications, and wear assessments for all in-service equipment.
