Position Summary: We are seeking a Metallurgical Engineer for the role of Shift Supervisor at a beneficiation plant, focused on controlling, monitoring, and coordinating metallurgical processes and team management. Develop and promote talent within the plant team Spanishita del Sur Mining Company is currently searching for top talent to fill the position of: **PLANT SHIFT SUPERVISOR** at our mining unit in Chala, operating under an atypical 20 x 10 system. Academic Qualifications: · Bachelor's Degree in Metallurgical Engineering or related field. **Requirements**: · Minimum 2 years of verifiable experience as Shift Supervisor. (MANDATORY) · Immediate availability. · Experience in gold processing plants. (MANDATORY) · Studies related to Management and Planning, Costs, and Budgeting. · Knowledge of Safety Management. **Responsibilities**: · Monitor and follow up on Daily Routine Management (DRM) and corrective actions for process anomalies. · Enforce and monitor solution quality for leaching and purification processes. · Coordinate with the Chemical Laboratory for sample analysis and control of leaching and purification solution quality parameters, as well as by-products such as gold and silver concentrate. · Participate in and implement corresponding actions from process control meetings through KPI analysis, SSMA meetings, maintenance meetings, and area management meetings. · Analyze and jointly coordinate with Maintenance on equipment corrections and preventive maintenance planning. · Develop and promote plant personnel according to their performance, profile, and job expectations. · Control shift-related costs. · Coordinate with the Warehouse Department to supply personal protective equipment (PPE) for plant personnel. · Analyze and resolve operational contingencies.
