Continuous learning in metal-mechanical processes QUALITY ANALYST – METAL-MECHANICAL Lima – Production Plant A metal-mechanical company specializing in the manufacture of grills, ovens, Chinese boxes, and stainless steel structures is looking for a **Quality Analyst** to strengthen our production team. Responsibilities: * Inspect in-process and finished products. * Verify dimensions and technical specifications according to product specifications. * Assess weld quality (uniformity, finish, visible defects). * Detect porosity, deformations, or structural failures. * Validate polishing, cleaning, and final finish prior to dispatch. * Record and report non-conformities. * Follow up on rework activities. * Complete daily productivity forms. * Record manufacturing time per product. * Verify achievement of production targets. * Supervise proper use of PPE on the shop floor. * Report safety regulation violations. * Propose improvements to optimize processes and reduce waste. Requirements: * Technical diploma or degree in Production Mechanics, Industrial Welding, Metal-Mechanics, or related field. * Knowledge of TIG and MIG welding (stainless steel experience preferred). * Basic proficiency with measuring instruments (vernier caliper, tape measure, square). * Basic ability to read engineering drawings. * Minimum 6 months of experience in the metal-mechanical industry (preferred). * Responsible, detail-oriented, and capable of working effectively in a team.
