Job Summary: Experienced personnel are sought to operate heavy machinery and telescopic cranes on mining projects, ensuring safety and compliance with standards. Key Highlights: 1. We are a company based in Lima providing plant and mine shutdown maintenance services and rental of heavy machinery and telescopic cranes. Currently, we have an ongoing large-scale project with our client MINERA CHINALCO located in the Toromocho area at 4,500 meters above sea level. With over four years of proven experience, candidates will work under a 2x1 shift system, formal payroll, and all statutory benefits. For candidates from provinces, the company covers transportation and travel allowances to the mine. * Conduct a thorough equipment inspection (pre-shift walkaround) before starting the shift. * Immediately report any equipment anomalies before, during, and after the shift. * Assess risks in the work area prior to positioning the equipment; immediately inform the supervisor if any substandard conditions are identified. * Comply with and align to project standards and procedures. * Understand rigging techniques (slings, shackles, lifting hooks, etc.), considering load capacities, specifications, and characteristics. * Always wear personal protective equipment (hard hat, safety glasses, high-visibility vest, gloves, safety footwear, and other PPE specified in procedures for daily tasks). * Properly secure the work zone and remove unauthorized personnel from the area. * Safeguard and protect company assets assigned to perform duties effectively (radios, retractable lanyards, harnesses, vehicles, etc.), beginning with equipment order and cleanliness. * Perform other responsibilities assigned by the immediate supervisor within the scope of functional competence. * Comply with work standards outlined in RIT, RISST, RITRAN, IPER, IPERC, and JSA. **EDUCATION:** * Technical personnel (preferred). * Documented competency from training courses and/or certifications issued by previous employers. * Basic knowledge of heavy equipment maintenance (not mandatory). **EXPERIENCE:** * Minimum three years of certified experience in load lifting on industrial, mining, construction, civil works, plant shutdown, and similar projects. **AVAILABILITY:** * Willingness to work under a 14x7 schedule or other special or alternative work arrangements as required by operational needs. * Willingness to travel domestically. **KNOWLEDGE:** * Familiarity with international standards (ASME B30\) governing best practices for lifting operations. * Ability to read and accurately interpret load charts and diagrams for the equipment being operated. * Knowledge of hand signals per standard B30\.5\. * Extensive knowledge in developing rigging plans. * Teamwork capability and soft skills (effective communication with assigned rigger). * Proactive work attitude and commitment to continuous improvement.
