Job Summary: We are seeking a Mining Mechanical Technician to perform maintenance, repair, and welding of equipment inside the mine in Arequipa. Key Highlights: 1. Repair and welding of equipment inside the mine On behalf of our mining-sector client in Arequipa, we are looking for a **Mining Mechanical Technician**. **Requirements:** * Mechanical Technician, Maintenance Mechanic, Electrical Mechanic, and/or related fields * Knowledge and operation of welding equipment and work tools * Ability to interpret equipment, component, and part drawings * Experience: minimum of 03 years in maintenance, repair, and welding activities * Availability to work at a camp under a 20x10 schedule. **Main Responsibilities:** * Perform predictive and corrective maintenance on conventional equipment inside the mine * Fabricate metal structures for underground mining operations * Carry out preventive, corrective maintenance, and repair of locomotives, mine cars, pneumatic shovels, hoist winches, drag winches, calesa, and all mechanical equipment used in underground mining exploitation processes * Perform welding and component recovery work on locomotives, mine cars, pneumatic shovels, hoist winches, drag winches, calesa, components, and other equipment used in underground mining exploitation processes * Conduct periodic repairs or repairs due to breakdowns of locomotives, mine cars, pneumatic shovels, hoist and drag winches, and other equipment used in mining operations and auxiliary activities * Perform inspections, maintenance, and mechanical assembly of equipment (fixed and mobile) used in the production cycle and other auxiliary activities * Perform other duties assigned by superiors and/or inherent to the position **Benefits:** * Direct payroll registration with all statutory benefits * 80% EPS coverage * Profit-sharing participation * Continuous training and professional development Employment Type: Full-time Salary: S/.3,000.00 per month Application Question(s): * How many years of experience do you have in maintenance, repair, and welding activities? * Please state your salary expectation Work Location: On-site employment
