On behalf of our client in the mining sector, we are seeking a ***Generator and Compressor Operator***. * **Academic requirements:** Completed secondary education and/or incomplete or ongoing technical studies. **Experience:** * Minimum one year performing similar duties in mining-sector companies. * Ability to learn quickly and basic knowledge of welding tasks. * Experience operating machinery and/or equipment used in mid-scale mining operations. **Key responsibilities:** * Maintain order and cleanliness in the work area during and after working hours. * Identify hazards, assess risks, and implement appropriate controls, complying with safety management tools such as Written Safe Work Procedures (WSWPs) and other required records. * Operate generator sets strictly following established procedures; report any operational irregularities; monitor and record operational parameters; and manage fuel requirements per shift. * Operate electric compressors according to defined procedures, recording operational parameters and reporting any anomalies detected in the equipment. * Provide support in basic simple welding tasks for manufacturing parts and tools necessary for workshop operations, during available time and as directed by the immediate supervisor. * Perform other tasks assigned by the supervisor related to the nature of the position. **Benefits:** * Formal employment with all statutory benefits. * 80% coverage under EPS (Health Insurance). * Profit-sharing participation. * Training and continuous learning opportunities. * Career development and growth pathways within the company.
