Job Summary: We are seeking a Chemical Laboratory Analyst to perform mineral analysis, prepare solutions, and ensure the quality of procedures in mining operations. Key Highlights: 1. Ensures optimal operation of laboratory equipment On behalf of our mining-sector client, we are looking for a **Chemical Laboratory Analyst** to join their operations in Caravelí \- Arequipa **Requirements:** * Technical or Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering. * Training in ISO 17025 standard * Minimum 3 years of experience in similar positions within the mining sector. * Knowledge of Gold Mineral Analysis by FIRE Assay \- Gravimetry. * Knowledge of Chemical Analysis by volumetry. * Knowledge of Chemical Mineral Analysis by AAS (Atomic Absorption Spectroscopy). * Knowledge of First Aid. * Basic-level Office software proficiency. **Main Responsibilities:** * Receive doré samples and perform gold and silver partitioning, then deliver them to the shift supervisor for proper verification. * Prepare standardized and diluted solutions at various concentrations, and precipitate cyanide solutions using the Chiddy method for acidic digestion of doré. * Precipitate silver nitrate solutions, recover metallic silver, and deliver it to the shift supervisor; also complete daily acid consumption control logs for appropriate functional supervision. * Perform sample weighing, acid digestion, and sample dilution for atomic absorption reading. * Perform sample weighing, acid digestion, and titration for volumetric analysis (copper, lead, zinc, iron) to accurately measure metal volumes. * Ensure and control in-house chemical laboratory procedures to guarantee quality, accuracy, and reproducibility of results. * Monitor and maintain gas extraction systems and acid scrubbers operational to ensure optimal execution of operational plans. **Benefits:** * Direct payroll enrollment with all statutory benefits * 80% EPS health insurance coverage * Profit-sharing participation Employment Type: Full-time Salary: S/.2,300\.00 \- S/.2,500\.00 per month Application Question(s): * Do you have knowledge of or training in the ISO 17025 standard? * Do you have experience in Gold Mineral Analysis by FIRE Assay \- Gravimetry? * Please state your salary expectation Work Location: On-site employment
