Job Summary: We are seeking an electrical maintenance professional with mining experience, knowledgeable in grounding systems, electrical installations, and safety standards. Key Highlights: 1. Requirements: * Degree or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Electrical Mechanical Engineering, or a 3-year technical program in related fields (e.g., Industrial Electricity, Industrial Electrotechnology). * Minimum 3 years of experience in mining and similar positions. * Prior experience at Sociedad Minera Cerro Verde (mandatory). * Residence in Arequipa (mandatory). * Availability to work Monday through Friday. Knowledge/Skills: * Experience replacing lighting fixtures at various heights (using scaffolding, manlifts). * Experience performing external motor maintenance — knowledge of MCC maintenance, starters, and busbar adjustments at various voltage levels. * Experience performing external maintenance on transformers and electromagnets. * Intermediate-level knowledge of design, construction, and maintenance of grounding systems, and maintenance of power supply electrical installations. * Hardware-level knowledge of variable frequency drives and user-level parameter configuration. * Experience laying cables of all dimensions, both in cable trays and conduits. * Knowledge of mill electrical systems (GMDs), including hardware-level operations such as cover removal, fan motor replacement, and sensor replacement. * Knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC), NFPA 70. * Knowledge of electrical safety standards (NFPA 70E).
