Job Summary: We are seeking a Technical Support Technician to service computers and printers, performing diagnostics, maintenance, and configuration. Key Highlights: 1. Technical support for computers and printers of various brands. 2. Diagnostic, preventive/corrective maintenance, and configuration tasks. 3. Requires solid knowledge of hardware, software, and operating systems. Job Description: We are a technology services partner and are looking for a Technical Support Technician for provincial areas to provide on-site support for computers and printers of various brands (Lexmark, Xerox, HP, Brother, etc.). Work will be performed on-demand per client requests, under an independent contractor arrangement (not payroll). ______________________________________________________________________ Main Responsibilities: For computers (PCs and laptops): * Diagnostics, repair, and preventive/corrective maintenance. * Installation and configuration of operating systems (Windows, basic Linux). * Formatting, data backup, migration, and recovery. * Hardware assembly and upgrades. For printers (Lexmark, Xerox, HP, Brother, etc.): * Driver installation, configuration, and updates. * Preventive maintenance (cleaning, calibration, consumables inspection). * Corrective maintenance (paper jams, printing issues, part replacement). * Network configuration (IP settings, print queues, shared printers). * Diagnosis of electronic and mechanical failures. * Equipment status review and reporting. ________________________________________________________________________ Requirements: * Technical degree in Computing, Electronics, Informatics, or related fields. * Minimum 1 year of experience supporting PCs, laptops, and printers. * Solid knowledge of hardware and software. * Proficiency in Windows operating systems (mandatory). * Basic networking knowledge (network printer setup). * Customer-oriented attitude, proactivity, and strong communication skills. * Immediate availability to work in provincial areas (cases will be assigned in the city where the technician resides).
