Role objective: Execute the electronic initiation blasting process to ensure proper detonation according to customer requirements. **Daveytronic, Fametronic or IKON certification is desirable.** **Main responsibilities:** * Plan and coordinate tasks with personnel involved in blasting operations. * Ensure adequate stock of Daveytronic products at the operation site. * Perform blast design, programming, connection, checking, charging, and detonation processes. * Collect blasting process data and generate daily, weekly, and monthly reports on performance indicators, progress, anomalies, support in tracking downstream post-blast results, and improvement opportunities. * Conduct training sessions on products and their properties. * Ensure customer needs are met by addressing their requirements and expectations. * Coordinate blasting activities with the client and provide process reports. **Requirements:** * At least 1 year of experience with electronic initiation systems (desirable). * Minimum 2 years of experience in mining. * AIIB license is desirable. * Technical degree or Bachelor's studies in Mining Engineering or related fields. * Knowledge of blast design software. * Understanding of blasting processes. * Knowledge of the use and properties of explosives and detonators.
