Description

Job Summary: A university graduate in Industrial, Chemical, or Environmental Engineering, specialized in Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) and Integrated Management Systems (IMS), to ensure safety in maintenance operations. Key Highlights: 1. Playing a fundamental role in ensuring safety during maintenance operations. 2. Developing and validating IPERC matrices and risk maps. 3. Developing Safe Work Procedures (SWPs) aligned with current standards and regulations. Profile Requirements To apply for this position, you must meet the following requirements: **Academic Qualification:** A duly licensed and registered university professional (with valid registration) in Industrial, Chemical, Environmental Engineering, or related fields. **Specialization:** Documented postgraduate studies in Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) and Integrated Management Systems (IMS). **General Experience:** Minimum of 4 years of total work experience. **Specific Experience:** Minimum of 4 years of documented experience managing or implementing OSH Management Systems and Integrated Management Systems. ️ Functions and Responsibilities Your role will be critical in ensuring safety across our maintenance operations. Responsibilities are structured around three key pillars: **1\. Development of the Baseline IPERC Matrix:** Conduct field data collection on Maintenance area activities (mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, lubrication, welding, lifting, working at heights, hot work, etc.). Review the updated IPERC of all Maintenance Superintendencies as reference. Identify hazards and associated risks for both routine and non-routine activities. Assess risks considering probability and severity, using the IPERC methodology defined in internal procedures. Determine existing controls and propose new ones according to the company’s hierarchy of controls. Develop and validate the Baseline IPERC Matrix and risk maps jointly with the Industrial Safety team and Maintenance Supervisors. Train area responsible personnel on correct application and updating of the matrix. 2\. Identification of Written Safe Work Procedures (SWPs): Review the Baseline IPERC Matrix to determine which activities require mandatory SWPs. Develop a correspondence matrix linking each activity to its required SWP. Define and prioritize the list of SWPs to be developed based on criticality. Review current SWPs from all Maintenance Superintendencies. 3\. Development of Written Safe Work Procedures (SWPs): Develop SWPs aligned with the IPERC matrix, internal standards, and applicable legal regulations (Supreme Decree No. 024-2016-EM, OSH Law No. 29783 and its amendments). Structure SWPs strictly following the corporate document control standard. Validate documents with the Maintenance Department and the Industrial Safety team. Deliver finalized SWPs in editable and PDF formats.
