




***Established company dedicated to the production and marketing of calcium oxide is seeking a UNIT MANAGER to join our team.*** Requirements: · Degree in Mining Engineering and/or licensed professional · 5 years of experience in mining operations. · 3 years of experience as Resident Engineer or in significant leadership roles · Knowledge in short, medium, and long-term mine planning. · Knowledge in cost and budget management. · Knowledge in marketing and industrial customer management. · Knowledge in performance indicators and continuous improvement. · Knowledge in integrated management systems (quality, safety, environment, and communities). Functions · Plan and supervise limestone extraction operations, calcium oxide production, crushing, and grinding · Ensure final product quality and compliance with technical specifications for customers. · Coordinate and control the dispatch and marketing process of lime to internal and external customers. · Coordinate and supervise the work of plant supervisors, ensuring efficient resource management · Supervise and ensure compliance with safety, occupational health, and environmental regulations at all stages of the process · Manage unit resources (equipment, supplies, personnel, budget) efficiently · Submit periodic reports to management on progress, results, and business unit needs. · Promote and implement continuous improvement in production and commercial processes to optimize costs and sustainability. · Coordinate with support departments (HSSE, equipment maintenance, laboratory, warehouse, procurement, personnel) to ensure operational continuity · Maintain institutional relationships with customers, suppliers, government entities, and local communities · Manage relationships with local communities and authorities, promoting collaboration and legal compliance · Monitor production, cost, efficiency, safety, and quality indicators. · Prepare budgets and ensure adherence to operational and commercial costs. · Propose strategies and investment projects for continuous operational improvement.
