Company dedicated to waste management through recycling, revalorization, and reuse; we are currently seeking an OPERATIONS SUPERVISOR – ANTAMINA
REQUIREMENTS:
Environmental, Industrial, or Sanitary Engineer or related field.
Minimum 3 years of professional registration; must comply with Supreme Decree No. 024-2022-EM for Safety.
Training in Waste Management and Industrial Safety.
Advanced Excel proficiency.
Minimum 3 years of experience as an Operations Supervisor in mining.
Experience in waste handling and management, marketing, and treatment.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
Work Location – PPL (Puerto Lobito, Huarmey)
Work Schedule – 20 days on / 10 days off
FUNCTIONS:
1. Monitor and ensure service compliance with excellence.
2. Ensure compliance with safety guidelines.
3. Assign daily tasks to personnel.
4. Advise operations to guarantee compliance with Antamina’s standards.
5. Schedule and monitor services (waste collection and storage, scrap yard operations, wastewater suction, etc.).
6. Conduct field inspections of services.
7. Lead audit programs and develop action plans to ensure 100% compliance with all items.
8. Supervise field service delivery at high performance standards.
9. Monitor fuel consumption and vehicle mileage.
10. Ensure safety standards for all activities performed by supervised personnel.
11. Review daily safe work documents (ATS, checklists, etc.).
12. Prepare and submit the monthly ICS report.
13. Maintain updated inventory records of equipment, materials, and supplies.
14. Report incidents and events.
15. Address team needs, timely reporting requirements for PPEs, vacations, leave management, etc.
16. Manage earthworks and execute the sanitary landfill closure work plan.
