***Recognized company dedicated to the production and marketing of calcium oxide is seeking a RESPONSABLE DE CANTERA – HUARAZ\- MARCARA to join our team.*** **Requirements** * Bachelor's degree or graduate in Mining Engineering, Metallurgy, or Geology * 02 years of experience in quarry operations within mining operations, mining contractors, and/or related activities. * 01 year of experience handling blasting materials. * Preferably with specialization or diploma: Specialization in quarry operations, Specialization in blasting, and/or Diploma in costs and budgets * Intermediate Excel skills * Knowledge of Safety, Occupational Health, and Environmental topics. **Responsibilities** * Supervise, coordinate, and schedule activities of personnel extracting limestone and operating transportation means, heavy equipment, and drillers at quarries according to established techniques and regulatory parameters. * Ensure production is executed on time, at required volume, and quality standards. * Conduct daily inspections of working face conditions and verify compliance with safe work procedures. * Deliver safety talks at the beginning of shifts and record attendance. * Take all necessary precautions to protect workers by verifying and analyzing that Hazard Identification, Risk Assessment, and Controls (IPERC) have been properly completed by workers in their work areas, aiming to eliminate or minimize risks. * Verify validity of explosive use and handling licenses for personnel responsible for blasting. * Check drilling depth and number of holes; also verify preparation and placement of charges. * Ensure explosives are equipped with proper initiation systems as per procedure. * Verify availability of equipment needed for loading explosive mixtures. * Assess stability conditions of rock mass and ensure rock detachment in the work area is performed according to established procedures. * Monitor execution of work schedules for assigning drilling machines to designated tasks according to blast hole pattern design and cross-section of the face to be drilled. * Inspect and ensure facilities, machinery, and equipment are functioning properly. * Establish and implement methods to ensure compliance and control of personnel attendance, work schedules, shift handovers, task assignments, goal setting, and measures to improve productivity. * Record daily control of working hours and productivity indicators (HH/Ton, HM/Ton, fuel/day/machine, fuel/hole/hour, and number of trips). * Provide timely information on maintenance and operational indicators for decision-making purposes. * Prepare, develop, and provide production reports, data related to quarry exploitation aspects, and other reports to various departments of the company. * Plan and submit material, tool, PPE, and service requirements for projected needs of the following month via Exxis platform. * Carry out all necessary inspections to verify production is conducted according to internal customer specifications and scheduled safety inspections. * Ensure reliability and optimal maintenance of quarry equipment. * Enforce compliance with legal and regulatory requirements as outlined in IGAFOM's Environmental Commitment Plan (MINEM \- DREM). **Benefits:** * Full payroll with all statutory benefits * Profit sharing payments * Positive work environment * Career development opportunities within a leading company in the sector * Ongoing training in integrated management areas.
