OPERATIONS SUPERVISOR

Description

Position Summary: A qualified professional with experience in open-pit mining, responsible for personnel safety, environmental protection, equipment maintenance, and preparation of reports and safe work procedures. Key Responsibilities: 1. Ensure personnel safety and environmental protection. 2. Prepare and submit deliverables to the client according to the Terms of Reference (TDR). 3. Participate in developing safe work procedures and the IPERC matrix. Requirements: \- A qualified and licensed professional (with at least 3 years of seniority) in Mechanical Engineering, Mining Engineering, Hydraulic Engineering, Geological Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or related fields. \- Minimum 3 years of verifiable experience in open-pit mining. \- Experience working in MINING UNITS. \- Availability to work at Antamina. Responsibilities: \- Ensure personnel safety and environmental protection. \- Ensure proper care of assigned equipment and materials. \- Prepare and submit deliverables to the client according to the TDR. Prepare daily reports. \- Participate in developing written Safe Work Procedures (PETS) and the IPERC matrix. \- Comply with organizational safety rules and procedures. \- Actively participate in safety-related activities (training sessions, campaigns, drills, KPIs, etc.). \- Follow safety procedures, PETS, safety standards, and complete the required work permits for assigned tasks; similarly, manage environmental compliance. \- Properly segregate solid waste.
