ENGINEER SPECIALIST IN HIGHWAY STRUCTURES AND DRAINAGE We are a company specialized in construction supervision and PACRI studies at the national level. We are currently seeking a Specialist in Highway Structures and Drainage who meets the following profile: REQUIREMENTS: Civil Engineer – Licensed Minimum of 03 years of experience in positions such as: Engineer, or Supervisor, or Manager, or Specialist, or Inspector, or any combination of these titles related to Civil Structures, Highway Structures, and Drainage; or Structures, Artworks and Drainage; or Structures and Artworks; or Structures only; or Artworks only; or Drainage only; or Artworks, Drainage and Structures; or Concrete Structures and Artworks; or Concrete Structures, Artworks and Drainage; or Drainage. Experience must be in the supervision, execution, and/or inspection of projects similar to this one, counted from the date of professional licensure. Similar projects are defined as supervision of construction, building, reconstruction, improvement, and/or rehabilitation (including combinations of these) of rural roads, local roads, rural pathways, departmental highways, and/or national highways. Immediate availability to work in Chincheros\-Apurímac. Proficiency in AutoCAD and knowledge of Public Management and the State Contracting Law. Intermediate-level Microsoft Office skills. Must be proactive, organized, and responsible. EDUCATION: Licensed degree in Civil Engineering RESPONSIBILITIES: Engineer Specialist in Structures and Drainage \- Verify on-site the areas designated for structures, ensuring that the structural designs are compatible with the construction location; if not, propose new designs according to site-specific ground conditions. \- Review the Technical File corresponding to their specialty to identify any design deficiencies, report them to the entity, and make necessary corrections, identifying potential additional works, project risks, and other relevant aspects that may require consultation during construction, providing all calculation sheets and electronic files from the software used in the respective designs, along with signed and stamped drawings supporting the design by the Structural Specialist. \- Review proposed designs in the detailed engineering phase, ensuring alignment between planning and construction methods. \- Verify hydraulic, geotechnical, and other parameters required for structural design. \- Propose necessary alternatives, recommendations, and suggestions. \- Prepare the Technical File Review Report specific to the Structures specialty. \- Supervise approval and quality control of all Contractor-performed tasks related to structures. Report results and recommendations regarding potential implications to the Site Manager and Supervision Chief, informing the entity about critical substantive issues. \- Coordinate and monitor construction practices across all execution stages including positioning, elevations, foundation soils, formwork, reinforcement steel placement, inserts, material quality, concrete pouring, curing, and finishing, ensuring geometric accuracy so that structures become operational and ready for service as specified in the Technical File. \- Supervise construction execution, having reviewed any design discrepancies and completed corresponding collective designs, ensuring technical feasibility throughout all construction phases. \- Participate in setting up the materials laboratory and be responsible for daily quality control procedures for all materials types as required by the Technical File, including concrete, reinforcement steel, structural steel, cables, post-tensioning forces, etc., as applicable. \- Provide technical evaluation of fabrication processes, whether in workshop or on-site, documented through the respective quality dossier, and submit fabrication follow-up reports. \- Remain on-site to address any questions arising during construction. \- Supervise development and implementation of standardized instructions for subordinates to ensure consistent data collection and concise reporting. \- Availability for virtual meetings with the Contract Administrator and/or Construction Management Assistant and other local authorities.
