**Job Opening:** **Drilling and Blasting Assistant – Mining Project** Corporación Grupo Sur del Perú SAC is seeking a **Drilling and Blasting Assistant** to join its team at the **Tía María Mining Project**, with experience or willingness to work in mining field operations. This position is aimed at proactive individuals who are eager to learn and capable of working as part of a team performing **drilling using Rock Drill equipment** and **blasting with explosives**. **Requirements:** * Minimum of **1 year** of experience in mining or construction activities (desirable). * Basic knowledge in **drilling and blasting** is desirable. * **Availability to work under a 14x7 schedule.** * Good physical condition and willingness to perform fieldwork. * Commitment to complying with **safety and environmental regulations.** * Residence in **Arequipa, Moquegua, or Tacna** is desirable. **Main Responsibilities:** * Assist in **drilling operations using Rock Drill equipment**, supporting the operator in preparing, positioning, and cleaning the work area. * Help in the **transport, preparation, and organization** of drilling materials and tools. * Provide support to the **blasting crew** during charge preparation and line connections. * Maintain **order, cleanliness, and safety** in the work area. * Comply with company and client **safety and environmental procedures.** * Participate in scheduled **safety meetings and training sessions.** **Working Conditions:** * **Salary:** S/2,200.00 (MYPE regime: half bonus, CTS, and vacation pay). * **Work Schedule:** 14x7. * **Work Location:** Tía María Mining Unit. * **Camp Facilities:** Accommodation and meals provided. * **Contract Duration:** 3 months, with potential extension to other projects. * **Position Type:** Full-time.
