**Job Description:** **Position:** Blasting Operator Corporación Grupo Sur del Perú SAC is looking for a **Blasting Operator** with proven experience in **loading and handling explosives** for blasting operations in access areas and platforms at the **Tía María Mining Unit**. **Requirements:** * Minimum of **2 years** of proven experience in blasting operations. * Knowledge of **blasting techniques and safety procedures**. * Familiarity with **initiation systems** and blasting accessories: emulsion, ANFO, detonating cord, FANEL, delays, etc. * Ability to work under a **14x7 shift schedule** and in a camp environment. * Preferably residing in **Arequipa, Moquegua, or Tacna** (or willing to relocate to southern Peru). **Main Responsibilities:** * **Load explosives** (emulsion, ANFO, detonating cord, FANEL, delays, etc.) according to the blasting design. * **Connect initiation systems** following the established sequence. * Prepare and inspect **blast holes** prior to loading and during the charging process. * Inspect blasting materials and equipment before use. * Monitor consumption, inventory, and return of explosives. * Assist in **signaling** the blasting area. * Strictly comply with **safety protocols** and company and client regulations. * Report incidents, anomalies, or deviations to immediate supervisor. **Working Conditions:** * **Schedule:** 14x7 * **Work Location:** Tía María Mining Unit (work on access routes and platforms). * **Camp Accommodation:** Lodging and meals provided (breakfast, lunch, and dinner). * **Employment Type:** MYPE (includes half-year bonus, CTS, and vacation pay). * **Contract Duration:** 7 months or longer. * **Position Type:** Full-time.
