Position Summary: Responsible for geomechanical supervision and control in mining excavations, including studies, support system design, and participation in prevention programs. Key Highlights: 1. Leadership in safety, occupational health, and environmental management 2. Geomechanical study and evaluation of mineralized zones 3. Supervision of compliance with geomechanical recommendations * Maintain statistical records of the quantity of support elements installed in underground mine excavations. * Lead and participate in prevention programs related to safety, occupational health, and environmental management. * Conduct geomechanical studies and evaluations of mineralized zones. * Define geomechanical parameters regarding rock mass quality. * Determine the support systems to be installed during excavation advance or rehabilitation of mine workings. * Specify the type(s) of support elements to be used in the mine. * Prepare geomechanical condition studies and reports. * Supervise compliance with geomechanical recommendations.
