Job Summary:
We are seeking a Payroll Assistant for our Human Resources team to support payroll processing, calculation of social benefits, and compliance with labor obligations.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Support payroll preparation and processing
2. Management of social benefits settlements
3. Filing and management of AFP contributions and other pension-related payments
We are looking for a Payroll Assistant to join our Human Resources team. The selected candidate will be responsible for supporting payroll processing, calculating social benefits, and ensuring compliance with current labor and pension regulations.
**Main Responsibilities:**
* Support payroll preparation and processing (bi-weekly and/or monthly).
* Record and verify attendance, overtime hours, tardiness, and absences.
**Social Benefits Settlements Management:**
* Prepare social benefits settlements upon termination (resignation, dismissal, contract expiration, etc.).
* Accurately calculate items such as: pro-rated vacation days, pro-rated bonuses, pro-rated CTS (Compensatory Time Savings), severance payments, and other pending benefits.
* Verify applicable deductions (advances, loans, court-ordered withholdings, among others).
* Prepare termination documentation and ensure its timely delivery to the employee.
**AFP and Pension Contributions Management:**
* Calculate and validate AFP contributions (pension fund, commission, and insurance).
* Prepare and file information in the AFPnet system.
* Perform reconciliations of pension contributions.
* Address employee inquiries regarding their AFP affiliation and contributions.
* Manage AFP enrollments, commission type changes, and AFP transfers.
**Declarations and Labor Obligations:**
* Support preparation and submission of the Electronic Payroll Form (PLAME - PDT 601).
* File and pay contributions to ESSALUD, ONP, and AFP.
* Validate information prior to submission to avoid inconsistencies or penalties.
* Support responses to requests from authorities such as SUNAT or the Ministry of Labor.
**Other Responsibilities:**
* Manage employee onboarding, offboarding, and updates in payroll systems (T-Registro).
* Prepare payroll reports and support internal audits.
* Maintain up-to-date personnel database.
**Requirements:**
* Bachelor's degree in Industrial Relations
* Minimum 1 year of experience in similar positions.
* Intermediate or advanced Excel proficiency.
* Experience with payroll systems and AFPnet (preferred).
* Knowledge of PLAME, T-Registro, and SUNAT regulations.
Salary: S/.2,000.00 per hour
