**JOB SUMMARY:**
**Safety Engineer \- Implementation**
Academic Qualification: Mining Engineer only, registered and licensed.
* **Specialization:** Postgraduate studies in OSH, diplomas in ISO standards (45001, 14001, 9001\), and solid knowledge of national legislation (Law No. 29783 and DS No. 005\-2012\-TR).
* **Experience:** Minimum 3\-5 years in leadership or supervisory roles, with direct experience in implementing Management Systems.
* **Competencies:** Leadership, assertive communication, change management, negotiation skills, and results orientation.
**Key Implementation Responsibilities**
**1\. Design and Implementation of the Management System:** Develop the Annual Safety, Occupational Health, and Environmental Plan; the Internal Regulations on Safety and Health at Work (RISST); and the IPERC matrix (Hazard Identification, Risk Assessment, and Controls).
**2\. Document Management:** Develop procedures, standards, directives, and operational manuals.
**3\. Training and Drills:** Design the annual training program and train emergency response teams.
**4\. Supervision and Control:** Monitor field compliance with procedures, verify use of personal protective equipment (PPE), and manage OSH KPIs.
**5\. Environmental Management:** Implement the waste management plan and ensure compliance with environmental regulations.
**6\. Incident Investigation and Continuous Improvement:** Investigate accidents and incidents to determine root causes and implement corrective actions.
**REQUIREMENTS:**
* Minimum 3 years of experience as a Mine Safety Engineer
* Strong knowledge of Risk Management processes.
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to work under pressure.
* Proficiency with equipment and computers, including basic Office software.
* In-depth knowledge of Peruvian Mining Regulations (D.S. 024\-026\-EM, 055\-201\-EM, SUNAFIL, OEFA, ANA, MINAM).
