**Civil or Mechanical Engineer – Specialist in Metal Structures** Mandatory Requirements: * Degree in Civil Engineering or related fields * Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in the design, analysis, or supervision of metal structures * Solid knowledge of standards: AISC, AWS, ASCE, NTP applicable to metal structures. * Basic knowledge of structural software: SAP2000, ETABS, and proficiency in AutoCAD. * Proficiency with BIM tools (Revit, Tekla Structures) for model review. * Proven experience in reviewing fabrication drawings, assembly drawings, and developing procedures. * Knowledge in quality control, interpretation of NDT tests, welding specifications, and structural bolts. * Experience in site coordination, resolving interferences, and contractor management. * Availability for field work and multidisciplinary coordination. Main Functions: * Perform analysis and preliminary design of metal structures. * Develop or review calculation reports, technical specifications, and design criteria. * Review, validate, and approve fabrication drawings, assembly drawings, and BIM models. * Coordinate with production, assembly, and other disciplines to ensure design compatibility. * Conduct technical visits, inspections, and monitor progress of metal structures at construction sites. * Identify, report, and resolve technical interferences during execution. * Ensure compliance with project quality, safety, and planning standards. * Develop and update construction schedules (Last Planner, Gantt, or others). * Carry out weekly planning, milestone tracking, and monitor progress of metal structures. * Coordinate with logistics, production, and assembly to ensure timely delivery. * Monitor productivity, measurements, valuations, and resources assigned to the project. * Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress, risk, and deviation reports. * Identify deviations and propose corrective actions regarding time, cost, and resources. \* Competencies: * Analytical ability and technical judgment. * Leadership and effective communication. * Proactivity in problem solving. * Teamwork and results-oriented mindset.
