In Peru, we operate across most economic sectors—including mining, agriculture, and fisheries—forming part of the value chain for their products and services. **Job Description** * Supervises all assigned construction activities during the construction, pre-commissioning, commissioning, and start-up phases in the mining sector. * Coordinates on-site activities with various project contractors to support adherence to the quality control plan, considering constraints and external stakeholder requirements impacting or related to the construction phase. * Monitors construction progress and manages potential deviations from technical specifications through periodic controls, field/laboratory inspections, and tests to prevent rework. * Supports all construction activities to ensure resolution of agreed deficiencies or "punch list" items between the Client and contractors. * Verifies compliance with the project's Technical Specifications, engineering drawings, equipment manuals, and management systems for construction, pre-commissioning, commissioning, and start-up phases. * Performs duties inherent to the assigned service, under personal responsibility. **Requirements** * Licensed and registered professional: Mechanical Engineer, Electromechanical Engineer, or related discipline, with at least three (3) years of verifiable experience in pre-commissioning, commissioning, and start-up within the mining sector. * Minimum five (5) years of proven experience in supervision of equipment installation in crushing plant buildings, structural assembly for material handling conveyors, equipment preservation, Level II VT/PT welding inspection, and paint inspection. * Minimum three (3) years of experience in the mining sector. * Experience in developing and reviewing quality control procedures, quality plans, inspection and test plans (ITPs), and reports/records. * Experience with quality management systems, non-conformities, change management, and implementation of corrective and preventive actions. * Familiarity with standards such as AWS, ANSI, API, ASTM, etc. * Experience supervising and controlling mechanical and structural construction processes, materials, and activities. * Must reside in Arequipa – Mandatory. **Additional Information** * All statutory benefits * Statutory life insurance * Ongoing training programs * Corporate partnership agreements * 6x1 work schedule with rotating rest days
