Position Summary: We are seeking a Metallurgical Technician with experience in mining sampling to supervise, verify, and ensure sample quality, as well as manage teams and train personnel in a mining environment. Key Highlights: 1. Experience in mining sampling and international standards 2. Supervision and control of mechanical sample preparation 3. Leadership, team management, and decision-making **REQUIREMENTS:** * Graduate/Metallurgical Technician from a Higher Institute * Minimum 6 months of experience in mining sampling * Knowledge of: * International sampling standards (e.g., ISO 12743 for minerals) * Mechanical sample preparation (drying, grinding, discharge, splitting, bagging, and delivery) * Occupational Health and Safety (protocols, use of PPE) * Proficiency in MS Office, especially intermediate Excel for reporting * Availability to work under an atypical mining regime of 20 x 10 and rotating shifts **RESPONSIBILITIES:** * Supervise sample drying, internal mill cleaning, grinding, discharge, sampling, and preparation. Inspect equipment condition and immediately report and request urgent repairs in case of failure. * Receive field samples and perform verification and registration. * Perform mineral grinding and splitting. * Code sealed samples. * Deliver samples to the service provider and transport samples to the Chemical Laboratory. * Immediately report equipment status in the area to the Superintendence and Maintenance departments. * Ensure equipment and tools are properly cleaned. * Submit requisitions for the area. * Schedule and conduct safety talks in the area and ensure operators use PPE. * Train staff on new techniques and procedures. * Analyze results and propose operational improvements. * Ensure sample quality and integrity (prevent contamination). **SOFT SKILLS:** * Leadership and team management. * Meticulousness and attention to detail. * Strong decision-making and problem-solving ability. * Assertive communication. **BENEFITS** **\- ALL LEGAL BENEFITS \+ 100% COVERED MEALS AND ACCOMMODATION** **\- SCTR AND LIFE INSURANCE AS PER LAW** **\- Employment Type: Full-time** **\- ATYPICAL REGIME 20\*10** Employment Type: Full-time Salary: S/.1,900\.00 \- S/.2,000\.00 per month Work Location: On-site employment
