Position Summary: We are seeking an engineer to supervise safety, develop the IPERC, train personnel, investigate incidents, and manage waste, with experience in mining. Key Highlights: 1. Supervision of safety standards and operational procedures 2. Development and updating of the IPERC Matrix and risk map 3. Incident investigation and environmental management Requirements: \- Minimum 1 year of experience in mining operations and/or MATPEL transportation, and 3 years of experience in the position. \- Bachelor's degree (licensed and registered) in Industrial Safety, Environmental Engineering, Mining Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related fields. \- Knowledge of MATPEL \- Willingness to travel. \- Residence in Arequipa. Responsibilities: * **Conduct field supervision** of compliance with safety standards and operational procedures. * **Develop and update** the IPERC Matrix (Hazard Identification, Risk Evaluation, and Control Measures) and the risk map. * **Deliver training sessions**, 5-minute safety talks, and induction programs for both internal and contractor personnel. * **Investigate work-related incidents and accidents**, proposing corrective and preventive actions. * **Manage solid waste** and ensure compliance with environmental management plans. * **Participate in audits** and inspections as required.
