Job Summary: Mill operator responsible for controlling and monitoring the grinding system, ensuring quality and safety standards in the plant. Key Highlights: 1. Operate and monitor mills and grinding systems efficiently 2. Perform inspections and maintenance to ensure optimal equipment operation 3. Contribute to the production team's success with experience and skills The selected candidate will operate, control, and monitor the proper functioning of the plant's mills and grinding system, ensuring that mineral particle size distribution and flow meet established quality and safety standards. **Job Requirements:** · Completed secondary education; technical studies in Concentrator Plant Operation, Metallurgy, or related fields preferred. · Knowledge: Handling and regulation of mineral and reagent feed. · Identification of operational parameters (pressure, abnormal noises, temperature). · Basic knowledge of preventive mill maintenance. · Safety: Familiarity with mining safety standards (continuous IPERC, use of PPE). · Availability to work under a mining work schedule of 20 days on / 10 days off or rotating shifts. **Main Responsibilities:** · Operate the storage plant's mills efficiently according to established operating procedures. · Continuously monitor mineral feed, charge level (balls/bars), and pulp density. · Conduct visual and auditory inspections of equipment to detect mechanical failures early. · Collect mineral samples for chemical/metallurgical laboratory analysis. · Maintain order and cleanliness (5S) in the grinding area. · Report any substandard conditions that may jeopardize safety or production. · Be responsible for maintaining equipment in optimal condition, performing preventive and corrective maintenance as required.
