Position Summary: Provide primary health care to students, managing emergencies, promoting healthy habits, and ensuring sanitary protocols within the institution. Key Highlights: 1. Assistance, preventive, and health promotion functions Provide primary health care to students at the initial, primary, and secondary levels, ensuring timely response to emergencies, promoting healthy habits, and guaranteeing compliance with sanitary protocols within the educational institution. Assistance Functions Provide first aid for school-related accidents, falls, blows, wounds, contusions, minor hemorrhages, fainting episodes, asthma attacks, or other urgent situations occurring within the school setting. Assess vital signs when necessary and record them appropriately in the care report. Administer medications only upon medical prescription and written authorization from parents or legal guardians, following institutional protocols. Provide care and follow-up for students with chronic conditions such as asthma, diabetes, epilepsy, or other conditions previously reported by parents. Coordinate student transfer to a health center when required, immediately notifying parents and school administration. Preventive and Health Promotion Functions Implement internal prevention campaigns on hygiene, healthy nutrition, handwashing, oral health, prevention of infectious diseases, and emotional well-being. Supervise basic sanitation conditions in classrooms, restrooms, and common areas, reporting any sanitary risks. Monitor and report cases of communicable diseases, in accordance with the Ministry of Health regulations. Guide students and teachers on biosafety measures and prevention of school-related accidents.
