Integration into a company in the heavy cargo transportation sector MECHANICAL ASSISTANT – AREQUIPA A heavy cargo transportation company is seeking a **Mechanical Assistant** to join our team and support maintenance activities for our transport units. WORK LOCATION **Industrial Park, Arequipa / La Joya – Km 48, Repartición** RESPONSIBILITIES * Support preventive and corrective maintenance activities for tractors, semi-trailers, and other transport units. * Support disassembly, assembly, and replacement of mechanical components. * Perform basic lubrication, greasing, and maintenance tasks on units. * Support oil, filter, belt, hose, and other component replacements. * Report any faults, anomalies, or unsafe conditions identified during maintenance activities. REQUIREMENTS * Student, graduate, or technician in Automotive Mechanics, Maintenance Mechanics, or related fields. * Basic knowledge of automotive mechanics. * Prior experience in heavy vehicle or transport unit maintenance is desirable. * Basic knowledge of braking systems, suspension, steering, and engines is desirable. * Commitment, responsibility, and willingness to learn.
