**Corporación Grupo Sur del Perú S.A.C.** is seeking an **Underground Blasting Supervisor** for a rock blasting project using explosives in an underground mining operation located at **Minera Pampa de Cobre – Mina Chapi**.
**Requirements**
* Licensed and registered Mining Engineer — mandatory.
* Valid professional registration.
* Minimum 2 years of underground blasting experience, counted from the date of professional registration.
* Experience in underground mining operations.
* Knowledge of explosive loading, connection, firing, and blast control inside mines.
* Knowledge of underground drilling pattern and blasting design and control.
* Knowledge of ventilation, evacuation, gas control, and safety conditions in underground operations.
* Field personnel management experience.
* Knowledge of safety regulations applicable to explosive use.
* Availability to work under a 14x7 regime.
* Availability to work on-site at the mine.
**Main Responsibilities**
* Plan, coordinate, and supervise explosive loading and underground blasting activities.
* Supervise blasting work in underground operations, ensuring adherence to established procedures.
* Verify safety conditions before, during, and after each blast.
* Supervise explosive loading, connection, evacuation, firing, and post-blast activities.
* Verify ventilation conditions, access routes, working faces, and gas control prior to resuming operations.
* Control blasting parameters such as burden, spacing, drill hole length, charge factor, advance, and firing results.
* Coordinate with the SSOMA department to ensure compliance with underground safety standards.
* Prepare technical blasting reports and explosive consumption reports.
* Support analysis of fragmentation results, advance performance, and improvement of blasting designs.
* Coordinate with operational staff to ensure scheduled field activities are carried out.
* Monitor potential blast-related impacts, including flyrock, gases, vibrations, overbreak, and substandard conditions.
* Ensure compliance with current regulations governing explosive use in underground mining.

* **Work Location:** Minera Pampa de Cobre – Mina Chapi.
* **Work Modality:** On-site at the mine.
* **Operation Type:** Underground mine.
* **Work Regime:** 14x7.
* **Project Duration:** Approximately 6 months.
* **Meals:** Provided at the mining camp.
* **Accommodation:** Provided on-site at the mine.
* **Transportation:** Provided between Arequipa – Mine – Arequipa.
* **Employment Type:** MYPE regime.
**Compensation**
Starting from **S/ 6,000.00**, depending on experience and evaluation.
