INVERTRANS SAC We are a private company dedicated to the transportation of hazardous materials and chemical supplies such as fuel and ethanol; we are looking for the best candidates to become part of the team as: LOGISTICS SUPERVISOR, PREFERABLY WITH EXPERIENCE IN TRANSPORTATION. REQUIREMENTS: \- Technical Professional and/or Bachelor's degree in Administration, Industrial Engineering, and/or Business Engineering. \- Minimum of 2 years of experience in logistics position. \- Intermediate-level proficiency in Office software suite. \- Knowledge of procurement, supplier evaluation, quality control, and inventory management. \- Class A\-1 Driver's License. \- Knowledge of KPIs and management indicators. Responsibilities: Evaluate the condition of assets. Plan and execute preventive and corrective maintenance activities for fixed assets. Monitor the maintenance of the company's physical assets, evaluate their condition, and keep them operational. Manage the reduction of equipment downtime and failures. Manage the sale, transfer, or disposal of assets at the end of their useful life. Verify the company's tangible assets. Control the movement of assets between locations. Conduct controls regarding asset losses. Register information on acquisitions, documents, lease agreements, invoices, and any other relevant data. Assign codes to fixed assets. Verify the maintenance of existing records. Perform periodic inventory checks. Receive requests from different areas of the company. Evaluate requests considering their necessity, impact, and pricing. Classify requests by priority and delivery time. Request quotes from suppliers according to pending requirements. Perform quotation comparisons, considering price, quality, and delivery time of products. Prepare purchase orders detailing previously agreed conditions along with selected supplier details. Follow up on pending purchase orders to ensure timely delivery of purchased supplies and materials. Carry out purchases and control logistics expenses according to defined cost centers. Collect or receive purchases, verifying they meet established specifications. Coordinate with accounting and administration departments the submission of invoices and various payment receipts. Register purchases in the system to maintain virtual and documented control over inventory inflows and outflows. Conduct selection, evaluation, and re-evaluation of new and existing suppliers based on established criteria. Maintain an updated and dynamic supplier database. Verify that selected suppliers can consistently deliver high-quality goods and services. Coordinate warehouse receiving and shipping activities. Code inventory according to category, then store accordingly. Conduct monthly inventory controls. Register returns and/or intake of various spare parts, evaluating their current functionality for proper classification. Generate biweekly reports on inventory inflows and outflows. Produce reports on tire receipts as well as those being decommissioned. Notify requesting departments of incoming items for item withdrawals.
