Position Objective** Supervise, coordinate, and carry out plant propagation activities, nursery maintenance, revegetation, and management of native species, ensuring compliance with technical, environmental, and safety standards of the mining project, especially in arid ecosystems with presence of xerophytic species and cactaceae. **2\. Job Requirements** **Academic Background:** * Professional degree in Agricultural Sciences, Biological Sciences, Forestry, or related fields. **Work Experience:** * Minimum eight (08\) years of proven experience in general plant propagation in nurseries, preferably within mining operations. * Specific experience in propagation of species similar to those of the project (cactaceae, xerophytic species, and flora from arid or high Andean zones). * Desirable experience in rescue, relocation, and management of cactaceae and other plant species related to the project's ecosystem. **Technical Knowledge:** * Techniques for sexual and asexual propagation of native species. * Design and operation of forestry and experimental nurseries. * Phytosanitary control and substrate management. * Botanical identification and registration of native species. * Knowledge of current environmental regulations. * Knowledge of environmental management and integrated systems (ISO 14001, ISO 45001\). **Personal Competencies:** Leadership, results orientation, planning, effective communication, adaptability, and environmental commitment. **Other Requirements:** * Class A2B driver's license (desirable). * Availability to work in mining camps and high Andean areas. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office, basic GIS, and technical recording tools.**3\.** **Main Responsibilities** * Plan, supervise, and control nursery activities (sowing, irrigation, transplanting, pest control, fertilization, and maintenance). * Lead plant propagation activities for cactaceae and xerophytic species, ensuring their proper adaptation. * Supervise and carry out revegetation, flora rescue, and relocation activities according to the project’s environmental commitments. * Coordinate and train technical and operational staff in nursery and revegetation activities. * Verify the quality of produced plant material (seedlings, seeds, cuttings, substrates). * Monitor environmental performance indicators and prepare technical and photographic progress reports. * Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety (HSE) standards during fieldwork. * Participate in implementing environmental management plans and in the continuous improvement of the environmental management system. **4\.
