We seek mature personnel with mining operations experience, responsible for supporting the Blasting Foreman and Blasting Supervisor during project activities. The position must strictly comply with safety, occupational health, and environmental procedures, as well as instructions from responsible personnel and standards established by the company and client. **Essential Requirements** * Minimum one year of verifiable experience as a Blasting Assistant or in similar roles. * Experience in mining projects and surface or underground blasting work. * Knowledge of safety controls applicable to explosive-related work. * Ability to follow instructions and work under supervision. * Availability to work under a 14 × 7 schedule\. * Availability to work on-site at Pampa de Cobre Mining Company – Chapi Mine. * Occupational medical fitness compatible with the operational functions of the position. **Main Responsibilities** * Provide operational support in surface and underground blasting activities. * Follow instructions issued by the Blasting Foreman and Blasting Supervisor. * Assist in preparation, control, and internal transport of authorized tools and materials for the activity. * Assist in demarcation, signage, and control of work areas. * Maintain order and cleanliness before, during, and after scheduled activities. * Assist in personnel evacuation and access control according to established procedures. * Participate in post-activity verifications under the supervision of the responsible person. * Inspect assigned tools, equipment, and materials prior to commencing work. * Correctly use personal protective equipment throughout the work shift. * Immediately report substandard acts or conditions, incidents, and field observations identified. * Comply with instructions from the Blasting Foreman, Blasting Supervisor, and SSOMA department. * Participate in safety talks, trainings, and internal inductions. * Comply with the company’s internal procedures and standards established by the client. **Working Conditions** * **Location:** Pampa de Cobre Mining Company – Chapi Mine. * **Operation:** Surface and underground blasting. * **Work Schedule:** 14 × 7\. * **Work Mode:** On-site at the mine. * **Meals and Accommodation:** Provided at the mining camp. * **Transportation:** Provided on the Arequipa – Mine – Arequipa route.
