Services**, we are seeking a committed, proactive, and results-oriented **Laboratory Assistant**, who wishes to develop professionally in the mining sector and become part of a highly specialized team. Job Objective To support the Laboratory Manager in ensuring the proper execution of laboratory operations and the timely delivery of results, thereby contributing to continuous process improvement, service quality, and compliance with technical, operational, and safety standards. Key Responsibilities * Coordinate and assign work orders to analytical staff, ensuring result quality and timeliness. * Supervise adherence to established technical procedures and control parameters. * Coordinate timely delivery of laboratory results. * Propose technical improvements aimed at optimizing processes, increasing productivity, and reducing costs. * Supervise inventory control of reagents, consumables, materials, and laboratory equipment. * Coordinate procurement, transportation, and proper use of chemical reagents and consumables. * Prepare technical reports and track observed samples. * Support internal and external audits. * Review and manage area requirements in coordination with the Laboratory Manager. * Prepare the monthly IQBF declaration to SUNAT. * Support maintenance and preservation of laboratory equipment and infrastructure. * Assume the Laboratory Manager’s responsibilities during their absence. * Ensure compliance with Occupational Health and Safety regulations, promoting safe working conditions throughout the workday. * Protect the confidentiality of the company’s technical and operational information. Requirements Academic Qualifications * University graduate or Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering, or related fields. Experience * Minimum of **3 years** in similar roles, preferably within the mining sector. Knowledge * **NTP ISO/IEC 17025** standard (basic level). * Mechanical sample preparation (Newmont Method). * Fire assay (minerals, precipitates, coals, and bullion). * Instrumentation using Atomic Absorption Spectrometry (AAS). * Applied statistics. * Intermediate-level Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). * Basic English.
