Job Summary: We are seeking a Blasting Charge Handler or Blaster for underground mining operations, responsible for the safe preparation, charging, and detonation of polymetallic explosives. Key Highlights: 1. Explosives handling and blasting experience 2. Knowledge of blast hole patterns and blasting safety 3. Reporting of misfired shots and control of explosives consumption *The MAXPALA Mining Unit* is an underground mining operation dedicated to the extraction of polymetallic minerals, primarily gold, silver, lead, and copper, conducted under safety, efficiency, and environmental responsibility standards. **Requirements:** ✅ Completed secondary education. ✅ Valid SUCAMEC authorization for explosives handling (Mandatory). ✅ Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Blasting Charge Handler or Blaster in underground mining. ✅ Knowledge of explosives handling (dynamite, emulsion, ANFO, and blasting accessories). ✅ Knowledge of blast hole pattern interpretation. ✅ Basic knowledge of geomechanics and blasting safety. ✅ Availability to work under mining shift regimes. **Main Responsibilities:** ✅ Prepare primers and load explosives according to blast hole pattern design. ✅ Perform tying and connection of blasting accessories following established procedures. ✅ Execute initiation of blasts respecting scheduled times and safety protocols. ✅ Verify safety conditions before, during, and after the blasting process. ✅ Identify and report misfired shots or explosive-related hazardous conditions. ✅ Control explosives and accessory consumption during the shift. ✅ Return surplus materials to the magazine in accordance with current regulations. ✅ Strictly comply with safety procedures and SUCAMEC regulations. **Benefits:** * 14-days-on/7-days-off work schedule * Formal employment with all statutory benefits * Market-competitive remuneration * Transportation from Arequipa to the Mining Unit and return * Covered meals and accommodation * Professional development opportunities * Excellent working climate * Ongoing training **Remuneration:** \- Salary: S/110 \- Bonus: S/200 * **Send documented CV \+ Certificate of Adulthood to:** conectandotalentoscv@gmail.com * **Contact:** 928 321 306 Work Location: On-site employment
