Negotiate with strategic suppliers **Logistics Coordinator** A growing restaurant chain is looking for a Logistics Coordinator responsible for planning, controlling, and optimizing supply procurement for production facilities and stores. The role ensures operational continuity, maintains purchasing costs within expected ranges, and leads the logistics team (purchasing and inventory assistant, logistics assistants in Arequipa and Juliaca). **Requirements:** * Bachelor's degree or higher in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or related fields. * Minimum 2 years of experience in logistics, demand planning, and inventory management. * Knowledge of demand planning, inventory policies, inventory valuation, warehouse management, and route optimization. * Preferred: knowledge of Operations Research (inventory, transportation, and distribution optimization). * Proficiency in ERP systems, advanced Excel, and Power BI (preferred). * Competencies: numerical analysis, negotiation, leadership, organization, and decision-making under pressure. * Willingness to travel occasionally between Arequipa and Juliaca. **Main Responsibilities:** * Design and maintain the master procurement plan. * Estimate demand and adjust purchases based on sales and turnover. * Define and supervise inventory policies (minimums, maximums, safety stock). * Coordinate inventory valuation with the Finance department. * Calculate maximum storage capacity and propose improvements to warehouse layout. * Plan and optimize distribution routes among Arequipa, Juliaca, and local stores. * Prioritize supplies during shortages and identify substitutes. * Negotiate with strategic suppliers of critical inputs. * Supervise the purchasing and inventory assistant and logistics assistants. * Prepare logistics reports with key performance indicators for procurement, inventory, and distribution. **Employment Conditions:** * Labor regime: MYPE. * Work modality: On-site. * Working hours: Full-time. * Initial salary: S/. 1,800 * Benefits: 100% covered health insurance and meals included. **Application:** Send updated CV to: **recursos.vikingos@gmail.com** Or contact via WhatsApp at: 905\-466\-405 Job type: Full-time Application question(s): * Are you available to travel? * Please indicate your salary expectation.
