




Job Summary: Responsible for rock fragmentation, including loading, tying, measurement, and connection of explosives, as well as risk assessment. Key Responsibilities: 1. Perform rock fragmentation 2. Assess risk conditions in the fragmentation area 3. Report situations affecting the use of explosives FUNCTIONS * Load explosives, tie them, prepare blast holes, and measure drill holes to carry out scheduled rock fragmentation. * Record measurements, connect detonators or explosives into drill holes, tie and support loading of blast holes. * Promptly inform the immediate supervisor of any situation that may hinder the proper use of explosives. * Assess risk conditions in the fragmentation area. REQUIREMENTS * 1 year of experience related to field work in mining. * Experience handling explosives is desirable. * Minimum 6 months of experience in open-pit mining is desirable. * Completed secondary education. * Valid A2B driver's license (mandatory). * Must reside in Arequipa.
