Job Summary: We are seeking a professional or technician with experience in mining and electrical maintenance, focused on systems, motors, transformers, and variable frequency drives. Opportunity for learning, dynamism, and an excellent team Requirements: * Degree or bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Mechatronic Engineering, Electrical Mechanical Engineering, or a 3-year technical program in related fields (e.g., Industrial Electricity, Industrial Electrotechnics). * Minimum 3 years of experience in mining and similar positions. * Prior experience at Sociedad Minera Cerro Verde (mandatory). * Residence in Arequipa (mandatory). * Availability to work Monday through Friday. Knowledge/Skills: * Experience replacing lighting fixtures at various heights (using scaffolding, manlifts). * Experience in external motor maintenance \- Knowledge of MCC maintenance, starters, and bar adjustment at different voltage levels. * Experience in external maintenance of transformers and electromagnets. * Intermediate-level knowledge of design, construction, and maintenance of grounding systems, and maintenance of electrical supply installations. * Hardware-level knowledge of variable frequency drives and user-level parameter configuration. * Experience in cable laying across all dimensions, both in cable trays and conduits. * Knowledge of the electrical system of mills (GMDs), including hardware-level understanding, cover removal, fan motor and sensor replacement. * Knowledge of the National Electrical Code, NFPA70\. * Knowledge of electrical safety standards (NFPA 70E).
