**Electrical Training Engineer** **Position Objective** We are seeking an Electrical Engineer with solid experience in the energy sector, especially in thermal power plants or similar facilities, to design, develop, and deliver training on electrical safety, associated risks, and safe work practices. The ideal candidate will be a technical expert with strong teaching skills and in-depth knowledge of Peruvian regulations applicable to the industry. **Responsibilities** * **Course delivery** * **Performance evaluation** * **Development of instructional materials** **Requirements** * **Education:** Professional degree in Electrical Engineering (REQUIRED) * **Experience:** Minimum of 3 years of experience in the energy sector, preferably in thermal power plants, in roles related to operation, maintenance, or training. (REQUIRED) **Immediate availability:** Preferably residing in the **jungle region** of Peru or available for multi-day travel (REQUIRED) **Technical Knowledge:** * Strong knowledge of power electrical systems, protection, and control. * Peruvian regulations and international standards in electrical safety and occupational health (NTP, OSHA, etc.). * Familiarity with occupational health and safety management systems (OHSMS). **Additional certifications that are valued:** * Certification as an instructor or trainer. * Certifications in working at heights, confined spaces, electrical risk, load lifting, and other related OHS or HSE topics. **Skills:** * Excellent communication and teaching abilities. * Ability to work both independently and as part of a team. * Results-oriented with a focus on continuous improvement. * Proficiency in computer tools for developing instructional materials and presentations.
