Position Summary: We are seeking a Diesel Generator and Compressor Operator to perform technical inspections, autonomous maintenance, and equipment operation in the mining sector. Key Highlights: 1. Application of safety procedures and support in welding On behalf of our client, a leading company in the mining sector, we are looking for a **Diesel Generator and Compressor Operator**. **Requirements:** **Academic Qualifications** * Certified Technician in Maintenance Mechanics, Industrial Electricity, Electrotechnology, or related technical fields. **Experience** * Minimum 2 years of experience operating power generation plants and/or compressed air systems in industrial or mining companies. **Required Knowledge** * Interpretation of electrical and pneumatic diagrams. * Operation of digital control panels such as Deep Sea, ComAp, or similar. * Basic preventive maintenance of internal combustion engines and screw compressors. * Industrial electricity and electrical safety. * Application of Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures. * Basic electric arc welding and oxy-fuel cutting. **Main Responsibilities** * Conduct technical inspections using checklists and perform autonomous maintenance activities on equipment. * Verify filters, fluid levels, condensate drainage, and other operational conditions. * Operate equipment startup and shutdown according to demand, contributing to optimized fuel and energy consumption. * Supervise fuel and lubricant supply, verifying quality and preventing possible contamination. * Record and monitor operational parameters in digital systems or logbooks, detecting variations in pressure, temperature, and frequency to anticipate potential failures. * Provide support in basic welding tasks and fabrication or repair of parts as required by operational needs. * Identify hazards, assess risks, and apply appropriate controls, complying with Safety Work Procedures (SWPs), safety protocols, and proper use of PPE. **Benefits** * Formal employment with all statutory benefits. * Health insurance (EPS) covered at 80%. * Profit-sharing participation. * Professional development opportunities and career path advancement.
