Quality Supervisor

Description

Job Summary: Supervise and control the quality of ready-mixed concrete, from raw materials to the final product, ensuring compliance with specifications and standards. Key Highlights: 1. Ensure the quality of ready-mixed concrete through rigorous controls. 2. Supervise raw materials and conduct tests on fresh/hardened concrete. 3. Participate in the continuous improvement of production and quality processes. Ensure that produced and delivered ready-mixed concrete complies with **technical specifications, customer requirements, and established quality standards**, performing controls throughout the entire production and dispatch process. Main Responsibilities * Supervise and control the quality of raw materials: **cement, aggregates, water, and admixtures**. * Verify mix proportions and mixture designs. * Perform and/or supervise tests on **fresh and hardened concrete**. * Monitor slump (**slump**), temperature, yield, and other quality parameters. * Prepare and maintain records of performed controls and tests. * Track **concrete strength** using test specimens and laboratory results. * Verify compliance with technical specifications requested by each customer. * Coordinate with production and plant personnel to implement necessary corrective actions in case of quality deviations. * Prepare quality reports and result summaries. * Address technical inquiries and observations from customers related to concrete. * Participate in the continuous improvement of production and quality control processes. * Maintain orderly and up-to-date documentation and records for the department. Requirements * Technician, graduate, or bachelor’s degree in **Civil Engineering, Materials Engineering, Laboratory Technician for Soils and Concrete, or related fields**. * Experience in **quality control of ready-mixed concrete**. * Knowledge of fresh and hardened concrete testing. * Knowledge of **mixture design and proportioning**. * Proficiency in Excel and report generation. * Familiarity with applicable standards and procedures for concrete quality control. * Analytical and problem-solving skills. * Willingness to work at plant and construction sites.
