An **Specialist in Safety, Occupational Health, and Environmental Management (SSOMA)** is required to lead and supervise compliance with safety and environmental regulations in **Information Technology (IT) infrastructure projects**. The role will be responsible for coordinating with clients and technical teams to ensure safe operating conditions, safeguarding personnel integrity, legal compliance, and environmental sustainability. **Requirements:** * **Academic background:** * **Professional degree and licensed** in **Industrial Engineering**, **Environmental Engineering**, **Safety Engineering**, **Electronic Engineering**, or related fields. * Must hold a **current license** from the corresponding professional association. * **Specialization and certifications:** * Postgraduate specialization in **SSOMA**, Environmental Management, or Integrated Management Systems is desirable. * Additional certifications in **ISO 45001**, **ISO 14001**, **IPERC**, **internal auditor**, etc., will be highly valued. * **Work experience:** * Minimum of **4 years of proven experience** in SSOMA management in technological infrastructure, telecommunications, civil works, electrical projects, or other high-risk activities. * Experience directly coordinating with **clients, contractors, and technical field staff**. * Up-to-date knowledge of **national occupational health and safety legislation** (Law No. 29783 and its regulations) and applicable environmental standards. * **Other requirements:** * Proficiency in Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for report and plan management. * Ability to develop and manage technical and legal documentation (SSOMA plans, risk matrices, incident reports, etc.). * Availability for field work and visits to various operational sites. **Key competencies:** * Operational and technical leadership in SSOMA matters. * Analytical skills and decision-making ability regarding risks. * Effective communication with technical teams and external departments. * Organization, planning, and follow-up. * Focus on regulatory compliance and continuous improvement. **Responsibilities:** * Develop, implement, and monitor the **SSOMA Plan** according to the IT infrastructure project. * Coordinate safety activities with **clients and technical teams**, ensuring optimal field conditions. * Conduct **occupational and environmental risk assessments**, using tools such as IPERC, hazard matrices, ATS, etc. * Supervise on-site compliance with safety, occupational health, and environmental regulations. * Investigate incidents and accidents, and prepare reports with corrective actions. * Monitor proper waste management and compliance with environmental regulations. * Train personnel on SSOMA procedures and best practices. * Manage and maintain up-to-date all **project safety and environmental documentation**. * Participate in internal, external, or client audits on SSOMA topics.
