Job Summary: We are seeking a Residential Fiber Optic Installation Technician to perform installations, maintenance, configurations, and customer service, ensuring proper service functionality. Key Highlights: 1. Installation and maintenance of fiber optic services at residential premises. 2. Configuration and activation of telecommunications equipment. 3. Customer service and reporting of completed work. RESIDENTIAL FIBER OPTIC INSTALLATION TECHNICIAN We are FEBEZA, a Claro subcontractor operating in the telecommunications sector. We are currently seeking proactive, responsible, and committed individuals for the position of Fiber Optic Installation Technician. Responsibilities: - Installation of fiber optic services at customers' residences. - Laying of external and internal cabling (pole mounting, ducting, and service drop). - Installation and setup of equipment (ONT, router, etc.). - Service configuration, programming, and activation. - Verification of proper operation (signal, speed, and connectivity tests). - On-site customer service during installation, including basic service instructions. - Performing maintenance and resolving technical faults. - Compliance with safety protocols and proper use of PPE. - Reporting of completed work and daily order closure. Requirements: - Experience in fiber optic or telecommunications installations (preferred). - Basic knowledge of cabling, networking, or electricity. - Availability for fieldwork. - Availability to work Monday through Saturday. - Responsibility, punctuality, and commitment.
