The **On-Site Sports Event Coordinator** is responsible for the planning and operational execution of events at the venue. Their main function is to ensure that all involved areas (logistics, sports, commercial, and infrastructure) operate in a coordinated and efficient manner, meeting quality, safety, and scheduled timelines. Acts as a liaison between the organization, the venue, sponsors, freelance staff, and technical personnel, resolving contingencies and ensuring a positive experience for participants and attendees. **1\. KEY COMPETENCIES.\-** \- On-site leadership: Ability to lead teams and make quick decisions. \- Organization and planning: Efficient management of time and resources. \- Problem-solving: Effectively respond to contingencies. \- Effective communication: Ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders (organizers, brands, suppliers, venue). \- Adaptability: Ability to work in dynamic environments under pressure. **2\. REQUIREMENTS.\-** \- Technical or university degree in Event Production, Sports Management, Business Administration, or related fields. \- Minimum of 2 years of experience in production and coordination of sporting or large-scale events. \- Knowledge of event logistics, infrastructure setup, and sports regulations. \- Basic proficiency in Office tools and digital communication. \- Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays. (Work location is ASIA) \- Work schedule from Thursday to Sunday, 8:00 am to 11:00 pm \- Language: English desired. **3\. RESPONSIBILITIES.\-** **a) Event execution** Lead and supervise the overall development of the event on site, ensuring adherence to the schedule, proper operation of each area, and a positive experience for participants, audience, and sponsors. **b) Coordination with venue owner** Maintain constant communication with the venue owner or manager, managing in advance and during events access for participants, audience, and sponsors, use of facilities, compliance with internal regulations, and resolution of operational needs during the event. **c) Sports coordination** Ensure competitions and sports activities are conducted according to regulations, coordinating with team leads, judges, referees, and discipline managers to meet technical and safety standards. Ensuring a positive experience for all athletes. **d) Brand and sponsor coordination** Manage before and during events the installation of commercial activations, branding zones, and fulfillment of agreements with sponsors, ensuring proper brand exposure. Maintaining sports spaces suitable for activities and complying with brand requirements and venue regulations. **e) Freelance team coordination** Assign tasks related to event setup and teardown, designate responsibilities by sport type, supervise and motivate temporary or project-based hired staff, ensuring their duties are performed with quality and within established timelines. **f) Supervision of setup and teardown** Control, direct, and actively participate alongside the freelance team in the setup and teardown phases of event infrastructure. This includes supervising compliance with blueprints, safety protocols, and established quality standards, as well as the operational execution of assembling and dismantling structures, equipment, and signage, providing direct support in tasks requiring immediate reinforcement to meet deadlines.
