




Main Purpose: Founded in 2004, Catalina Huanca Sociedad Minera S.A.C. is a private company located in the district of Canaria, province of Fajardo, Ayacucho region. It operates an underground polymetallic mine extracting zinc, copper, and lead, using various mining methods depending on geological conditions and types of veins or deposits present. The extracted ore is processed at the San Jerónimo Beneficiation Plant with a capacity of 2,600 tons per day. In the Graduate Program at Catalina Huanca Sociedad Minera S.A.C., candidates will gain a comprehensive understanding of all operational areas, creating future development opportunities within the Trafigura mining group. The Trainee Program lasts one year, starting in January 2026 and ending in December 2026. They also coordinate with plant operators and technicians to monitor equipment, control parameters, and ensure process efficiency. They collaborate with the maintenance department during breakdowns or scheduled shutdowns. Additionally, they work closely with the laboratory team for quality control and sample analysis. They maintain communication with safety and environmental departments to comply with operational standards. These interactions strengthen their technical training and comprehensive understanding of the metallurgical process.
