At least one (1) year of experience in Occupational Medicine or Occupational Health, as well as being a duly licensed, registered, and certified Medical Surgeon by the Colegio Médico del Perú, holding a Diploma in Occupational Health. Additionally, must have a minimum of (36) credits in a diploma program in Occupational Safety and a Master's degree in Occupational Health (minimum 3 years). 2\. Knowledge of implementing occupational health procedures in production plants, mineral processing plants, and industrial facilities. Familiarity with Peruvian regulations on safety, occupational health, and environmental standards, clinic audits, and occupational medical examinations. **What is the professional challenge?** * Monitor the medical surveillance plan, which must include: procedures, identification and evaluation of risk factors, instructions, protocols, among others, and report progress to management, issuing the annual report to DIGESA. * Design preventive plans to avoid occupational diseases, such as: hearing conservation plan, musculoskeletal disorder prevention plan, lifestyle prevention plan, infectious disease prevention plan, respiratory disease prevention plan, etc. * Recommend equipment to safeguard workers' health. * Provide medical examinations to all personnel, including those working at mine sites, according to requirements set by mining companies. * Conduct educational activities on health prevention and promotion, training, and instruction for all staff. * Attend training sessions, meetings, etc., held by mining companies to address observations, obtain approvals, and participate in any requested meetings. The occupational physician must resolve client requests as quickly as possible, optimizing the use of allocated resources. * Monitor compliance with SIOM's medical surveillance plans at each mining site. * Keep updated medical records of personnel who have undergone occupational medical exams, etc. * Communicate via email and phone pending medical exams or outstanding observations to ensure follow-up, attendance, and compliance. * Provide necessary documentation to field advisors to meet each mining company's requirements regarding Occupational Health.
