




Main Purpose: Main Purpose Founded in 2004, Catalina Huanca Sociedad Minera S.A.C. is a private company located in the district of Canaria, province of Fajardo, Ayacucho region. It operates an underground polymetallic mine extracting zinc, copper, and lead, using various mining methods depending on geological conditions and types of veins or deposits present. The extracted ore is processed at the San Jerónimo Beneficiation Plant with a capacity of 3,000 tons per day. In the Graduate Program at Catalina Huanca Sociedad Minera S.A.C., candidates will gain a comprehensive understanding of all operational areas, enabling future development opportunities within the Trafigura mining group. The Trainee Program lasts one year, starting in January 2026 and ending in December 2026. Primarily, they maintain constant communication with the Production Geologist and Exploration Geologist, who supervise their activities, provide technical guidance, and evaluate their performance. They also interact with the occupational health and safety department to ensure compliance with established rules and procedures before and during underground or surface work activities.
