**PEXT Technician – Huallanca 1 (Field Support with Experience)** We are seeking an External Plant Technician (PEXT) for the Huallanca 1 area to join our field support team and ensure the operational continuity of the network. This position will provide direct support to the lead technician and requires proven experience in fiber optic work. **Responsibilities** * \- Perform technical support activities including splicing, fusion, and general maintenance of the external plant network. * \- Patrol assigned routes and verify continuity of fiber optic links and segments. * \- Respond to incidents, faults, or service interruptions, ensuring prompt and effective resolution. * \- Provide operational support to the regional lead technician for both scheduled and unscheduled tasks. * \- Maintain detailed records of all activities performed, submitting clear and timely reports. * \- Comply with established safety protocols and technical standards. **Requirements** * \- Prior mandatory experience in external plant work (splicing, route surveys, measurements). * \- Proficiency in using tools such as fusion splicers, OTDRs, power meters, and other related equipment. * \- Knowledge of fiber optic handling, splice closures, and network infrastructure. * \- Willingness and ability to work in highland (sierra) regions, travel within the area, and perform fieldwork. * \- Ability to work under pressure and coordinate effectively with the lead technician. **If you meet the profile and are interested, please send your CV to:** **administracion@dolanperu.com** Employment type: Full-time Salary: S/.1,500.00 – S/.1,800.00 per month Work location: On-site employment
