Job Summary:
Supervise and control compliance with occupational health and safety regulations, strengthen the preventive safety culture, and manage incidents.

What will be your responsibilities?
* Supervise, control, and monitor compliance with current legal regulations and corporate guidelines related to occupational health and safety, through the implementation of best practices and by strengthening a preventive and proactive safety culture among workers in surface areas such as the processing plant, water treatment plants, maintenance workshops, and tailings facilities.
* Contribute to the implementation of operational projects within the department.
* Advise on and monitor compliance with plant and surface safety standards, aiming to reduce incident occurrence.
* Execute annual program activities (training, inspections, drills, etc.) applied to departments and contractor companies.
* Monitor compliance with standards and procedures, ensuring legal compliance for departments and company contractors.
* Manage incident reports and their corresponding investigations, ensuring their closure. Ensure and follow up on the closure of established corrective actions.
* Organize and update information generated from internal and external audits, as well as audits conducted by governmental regulatory agencies.
* Maintain control over PPE used in the area according to requirements.
* Train and provide feedback to personnel from departments and contractor companies regarding OHS management tools.
* Evaluate and propose improvements to emergency response systems.
* Manage the update of the critical risk assessment for the tailings dam and ensure implementation of established controls.
* Promote continuous staff training on safe management practices and preventive culture.
* Identify opportunities for technological improvement and innovation in safety management.
* Perform other duties assigned by your supervisor related to occupational health and safety management.
What are we looking for?
* 3 years of experience
* Industrial, Mining, Metallurgical or Environmental Engineering degree
* Licensed and registered with the professional association
* Knowledge of Integrated Management Systems
* Familiarity with Peruvian regulatory frameworks and international standards (ICMM)
* Availability to work under a 14-days-on/7-days-off schedule
