A professional work environment focused on continuous improvement **Mechanical Supervision Engineer – Mining Project** **Location:** Mining project (Yanacancha) **Department:** Supervision **Employment Type:** Full-time **Required Experience:** 8 years **Immediate availability** **Job Objective** Supervise mechanical discipline-related activities, ensuring compliance with execution, contingency, and occupational risk prevention plans. Anticipate resource interferences or deficiencies, ensuring project requirements are met. **Key Responsibilities** * Develop and implement the Supervision Plan. * Supervise the proper technical execution of mechanical construction services. * Ensure quality of materials and resources used by contractors. * Perform field engineering to respond to RFI’s. * Attend daily meetings with the client (06:45 a.m.) and document agreements. * Participate in coordination and construction meetings. * Prepare daily reports (Daily Report) and final reports. * Validate technical procedures, Red Line drawings, and As-Built drawings. * Supervise compliance with safety and environmental standards. * Participate in contractor safety talks. * Manage issued NCRs, RAPs, CIGs, and RFIs. * Review procurement certifications and reporting to internal departments. * Report time- and cost-impact alerts to Antamina. * Comply with Integrated Management System policies (SSOMA, Quality, and Anti-Bribery). **Requirements** * **Education:** Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Energy Engineering, or related fields. * **General Experience:** Minimum 8 years. * **Specific Experience:** Minimum 5 years supervising mining projects. * **Driver’s License:** Category A1 (mandatory). * **Technical Knowledge:** * AutoCAD * MS Office (intermediate level) * MS Project (intermediate level) * **Other Desirable Knowledge:** National regulations, Antamina standards, integrated management systems. * **Language:** Intermediate English (desirable). * **CIP:** Desirable. **Benefits** * Opportunity to join a highly qualified technical team. * Participation in large-scale projects. * A professional work environment focused on continuous improvement.
